I played judo for about 10years.
I started to play it when I was 3rd grade of elementary student. When I was junior high school student, I belonged to judo club. The practice was very hard, but I could spend good time.
I wasn't strong player, but I acted as a captain of club when I was high school student. It was very hard to gather up a club.
I could get a black belt in my high school days. I spent lots of time to get it. So I was really glad to be success of getting it.
Unfortunately, I quited judo because of an injury now. My club activity was one of the very good experiences in my life.

I play Judo too, it's very fun. Too bad you're injured, I've been hurt several times too, it's a very rough activity. Judo isn't very popular in America so the Japanese are much better than us at it. When I trained in Japan I got beat a lot. If you were team captian you must be good. You expressed your experiance well, though it might sound a little better if you say "quit" instead of "quited".
