In this University, I belong to tennis club and volunteer circle. Tennis, it is very strict you know, but all of my friends are very kind and also funny, so I always hang out with them and it is treasure for me to do club activities together. We have a homepage of tennis club. If you are free, please see it! I bet you can enjoy the albums. http://shingen.ccn.yamanashi.ac.jp/~tennis/
I also join the volunteer circle, which is to study world problems, such as refugees, and act something for them and let people who don’t know about the problems know. This circle’s name is “chikyu-no-tane”, which means the seed of earth. Kanako also join this circle.

While I was a junior high school student, I belonged to soft-ball tennis club. Do you know soft-ball tennis? It is similar to tennis. It is different from balls. The color is white and it is softer and lighter than tennis ball.
I started to belong to tennis club from soft-tennis after entering high school. At first, it was difficult to change the form soft-tennis to tennis. Now, I get used to play tennis, so it must be difficult to change vice versa.
Do or did you belong to any club, or circle?

Hello Mai,
Tennis sounds like fun. I belong to the Fencing Club. We aren't very strict, but my friends are funny as well. The volunteer club you belong to, "The Seed of the Earth," sounds very nice. I have a few friends who belong to clubs like that. We look at things like conserving the enviroment. Volunteer club sounds like a very nice thing for you.
Thank you very much for your comment!! I really enjoy playing tennis. So do you to do Fencing. I heard that it is ordinary thing in America to do volunteer. Is it true? In Japan, it is unfamiliar to do volunteer.
It looks like your tennis club has a lot of fun when you go out drinking, I'm jealous! Do you get to travel to other schools much with your tennis club?
I hadn't heard of soft tennis before. It seems Japan founded the sport, in fact. The closest thing to tennis I've played much of is probably ping-pong.
Yeah!! Drinking with tennis club member is fun. My seniors sometimes make me chug down an alcohoric drink at one go. Last Saturday, I went to Yokohama to play tennis games but I couldn't play because it was hit by a typhoon.
Soft tennis is familier in Japan. It was founded because when tennis came to Japan, Japanese were poor to prepare the tools of tennis.
I sometimes play ping-pong but it is difficult for me to use such a small racket.:(
