Daily life

I usually wake up 8 o’clock. I have 15 classes in a week. Fortunately, I have only one first period class this semester. I’m happy because I’m not good at waking up early in the morning. I have a part-time job. I’m working at a restaurant three or four times in a week. I have been working there for about a year. Mainly, I wait on customers and serve dishes or drinks. My restaurant is famous for 'houtou' . It likes 'udon' and it is local specialties in Yamanashi. it is very delicious and you can eat various vegetables. I get used to working there, but it is too hard.

Hey Takefumi!

So you work at a restaurant, huh? I wish I had a job. D: I really need some money. I used to work at a toy store called KB Toys, but they went out of business, sadly. I'm a little confused by what you mean when you say "It likes 'udon' and it is local specialties in Yamanashi." Do you mean it serves udon and local specialties? Just wondering.

See you around!

Hey Takefumi,

My name's Adam and I really can't get up in the mornings either. I try and get up early because I'm always late but usually end up hitting snooze until the last second then run for the bus.

Your schedule is insane! I have four classes and only work a day a week and am falling behind but that's because I'm also hopelessly disorganized (>.<) I'm thinking about working more because I need to make enough money to buy presents and still pay my bills.

What's your most interesting class this semester?

Thats very interesting Takefumi- I've never worked in a restaurant before. How do you like it? I work in the university dining hall during the year, and during the summer, I work at my uncle's store. He sells plants and gardening things. Sometimes I have to even split firewood! It gets very hot and sometimes I get sunburned.

That's a very appetizing picture of Houtou there. I remember when I was a kid I went on a school field trip to Tsukiji fish market at like...5:00 in the morning, and we had udon for breakfast. It was very delicious. How is Houtou different from Udon? Maybe the different vegetables that go in it? I'm just guessing from what I saw in your picture...

Hey the Houtou likes really good, I think I would like it because I really like Udon. You have so many classes! I take five classes, but each class meets between two and three times a week. Altogether I have 13 classes a week to go to. Do you like working at the restaurant? I haven't so I don't exactly know what it is like. My sister works at one too, like you. Currently I am a referee for intramural sports, that's my job.
