Nice to meet you!My name is Kyoko Asakawa. Now I am a third grade of Yamanashi University. Yamanashi prefecture is located on left side of Tokyo. In this college, I am majoring in international culture. So I want to develop my English ability, but I am poor at using it well. And I haven't been to foreign country yet, so I intend to go somewhere as soon as possible when I have a long free time.
Then let me introduce myself briefly. My hometown is Aichi prefecture.Aichi is well-known for general of the age of wars. Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu, Oda Nobunaga and so on. My home is located on peninsula, so I would go to the sea very often before I come to Yamanashi. I like local nature very much.
My family member is father and mother and me. Now I live in Yamanashi by myself. First years, I had a trouble with homework, but gradually I was accustomed to alone life, and now I am enjoying daily life with friends. Campus life give us a lot of pleasure, and we can do various things everyday.
And I belong to track and field club. I have continued this club since I was a pupil. My specialty is 100meter, 200meter, and 400meter. We practice four times a week, and compete with each other to renew our best time on my own. After club activities, we have a dinner together or sometimes go hot springs. I really enjoy daily life very much now!!
I want to become friend with many people. Thank you for reading my new blog☆

Hi! It's nice to meet you too. I'm also interested in different cultures and though I've been to Spain and England I'd really like to go to Japan. Do you like going to the sea? The beach is one of my favorite places. I've always wanted to go to a hot spring, maybe I'll be able to go one day. I bet they're very relaxing. ~Ana
Hello Asakawa-san,
I really liked reading your post. I studied Japanese History here at the University of New Hampshire and I liked the class a lot. I think when I go to Japan I would love to visit Aichi and see the historic sites. I find the history of the nation fascinating. Thanks for reminding me about the amazing historical figures!

What is it about the sea that you enjoy most? Do you like to go swimming? Sailing? Puddlejumping? One of my best friends is a runner, and I know how much she enjoys the sport. She runs long distances and cross country, however, so you two would never compete. How does running affect your daily life? Would you like to continue running after you graduate? --@ Tân
nice to meet you Kyoko. Track and field is a very fun set of sports. dong the 100m and 400m must be tough. I used to run 400m and it's very different from a 100m sprint; you must be a very diverse kind of athlete. that is so cool you and your team can go to onsen after practice, we don't have onsen here in America, so our Judo team can't go ><
if you don't mind me asking, what are your run times like?? I enjoy track too, so it would be interesting to know.
that's you grew up by water. I did too, it's so nice to be able to go out the ocean whenever you want.

Hi Kyoko. It was great to read your post. I am also studying international relations and foreign culture here in the United States, although I do not know exactly what I want to do after I graduate. It sounds like you are having a great time with the track and field club. It is important to have fun at school too, in addition to working!

Hi!! You used to 400 meter!! I am very happy!! 400 meter is very hard for me, too. But I often run 4×400 meter relay in a meeting. So I have to run more faster for my
companion. My 400 meter best time is 61"12. I don't very satisfied with this record. So this winter I have to practice very hard. I want to know your best time if you don't mind. Let's enjoying sports each other!!
