Nice to meet you. I'm Adam and I LOVE movies too! It's cool that you work in a movie theater; I'm wicked jealous. What kind of movies do you like?

I like all kinds of movies but I really like dark comedies, funny movies that are kind of sad, and zombie movies. One of my fovorite movies is Shaun of the Dead.
... I died laughing (^.^) sorry, bad joke.

Hey Hatsune!

My name is John Lennon.

I think your English is good, and you use it well. I understood everything you said. There were only very very small mistakes. You really should study abroad! I have studied abroad three times. It is really good to live in a different country, and learn about the culture. I really like movies too! When I was in high school I wanted to make movies. What if your favorite movie? I like so many movies, I don't have just one. I have a bunch of favorites.

It was very nice to meet you. I will talk to you later, take care!

Hi Hatsune- nice to meet you!
My name's Conor and I'm a sophomore here at UNH. Your english is fantastic! I was able to understand it really easily as well. I'm so glad that you like to study it! I really like studying Japanese...I've been studying it for a long time, but I'm a bad student so I'm not as good as I should be! hahaha

You said that your dad lives in Tokyo now- do you ever go to Tokyo? I used to live in Roppongi, and it was so much fun!

And the movies! Which are your favorite movies? I really like movies as well. Do you watch many American movies? I saw a "Kurasawa" movie a while ago. It was called "ikiru." It was a very interesting movie...It was very intelligent.
My favorite movies are usually funny ones though. Funny or "big" movies, like Lord of the Rings or Last Samurai. One of my FAVORITE movies is called "Tropic Thunder" -Its REALLY funny.

Wow..I think I wrote a lot about movies... sorry :P

OK- I'll maybe give you some tips for your English here. It feels weird though, like I'm a teacher or something.
Here's one (and this is the sort of thing that teachers seem like they would get in kids faces about)
==> the word "But" is not supposed to be used at the start of a sentence usually. Its like "and" or "or" I guess. I saw that once in your message. Words you CAN use that mean kind of the same thing are words like "However" or "Although"

Good luck with your practice! Good luck finding ways to use English as well! Using it is the best way to get better!

Nice to meet you too, Conor. Thank you for your long comment! I'm happy.
I'm glad to hear that you really like studying Japanese. I often go to Tokyo, but I have never been to Roppongi.
I can't choose my favorite movie. I like so many movies. I like American movies more than Japanese. I don't know about Kurosawa, but his movies are very popular among all over the world.

Your advise proved to be very useful in my studying. Thanks a lot! I'm looking forward to talking with you again.

I saw advertisements for "My sister's Kepper", but I didn't see it. It looked like a really sad movie. I've studied abroad in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Spain. I went to each of these countries for one semester. My experience was so much fun, and I learned that there is more than one way to live in this world. What are some countries that you would want to go to for studying abroad?
